Measurement Of Time

We use Hours, Minutes and Seconds to Read the time.
Picture
In this clock, The hour's hand is on 10 And the minutes hand is on 2.   The no. 2 shows 10 minutes.
Hence, this clock shows the Time 10 :10.

AM & PM -
Am - Anti-Meridian
Pm - Post-Meridian

 AM -  AM is the Time Between Midnight  12 o'clock  Till noon 12 o'clock.
 PM -  PM is the Time Between Noon 12 o'clock Till Midnight 12 o'clock.

12 Hour Method -
The time in which Am & PM is written is called time written by 12 hour method.
For Ex.  10:10 AM/PM
24 Hour Method -
The time in which Am & PM is not written is called time written by 24 hour method.
For Ex.  22:10

Remember This -
12 = 00 /  24
1 = 13
2 = 14
3 = 15
4 = 16
5 = 17
6 = 18
7 = 19
8 = 20
9 = 21
10 = 22
11 = 23

Operation on Time

                    For Ex. 12:06:34  + 3:55:45

                                                                                                    12:06:34
                                                                                                  +  3:55:45

                                                                                                    15:61:79
                                                                                                =  16:02:19
                                                   Its very simple. Just as the Simple Addition !

                                       Ex. 2. What is 4:10 - 1:35 ?

Subtract the Hours: 4-1 = 3
Subtract the Minutes: 10-35 = -25

The minutes are less than 0, so add 60 to Minutes (-25+60 = 60-25 = 35 Minutes) and subtract 1 from Hours (3-1 = 2 Hours) ... answer is 2:35

                                                              You can do in the Same Way With the Seconds Also.
